Nyhavn 31 - Copenhagen
All buildings in Nyhavn have in common that they have their own special history and unique architecture. It is no exception for number 31, which had shipowner Andreas Bodenhoff living in the late 18th century, who later had Bodenhoff's Plads named after him. Historically speaking, Nyhavn has been an important trading post that was always packed with sailors in the many taverns. Nyhavn 31, which today houses an Italian pizzeria, particularly catches the eye with the writing on the facade "sunny side", which is a funny reference to the fact that it is the side of Nyhavn on which the sun falls.
The motif is hand painted by Hannah Jørgensen, who also personally signs every poster that is bought. The motif is also found in postcards.
